What do we think about the live action how to train your dragon?

What does not know the best movie of 18 years which came and conquered. How to train your dragon was the best movie that I watched along with my siblings. It was only a matter of time that we were going to get its life action. But mind you this is not just any live action. It is the best that DreamWorks have ever created.The story of toothless and Jacob is going to take you on the journey where reality bands completely. Let’s find out what we think about this movie.

In the live action, everything is the same as the animated movie such as the script and storyline as well as the action is the same and intact. But it is happening with real actors who are human and this story hits more profoundly than the animated one.

However you cannot create real dragons in the live action movie. In the animation things are easy to make because they are just cartoons but in live action you need to create those images that the viewers have set in their minds. That’s why the green screen and VFX is pretty obvious. Although the actors are real, the aesthetics and environment is still computer generated.

The village of the Vikings off work is the same, but the contrast of the images is really low. You cannot find out the reality in all of that. They simply failed to create the exact same things. Which is impossible, but the computer generated content could have been better.

Even the cinematographer Roger Deakins has put a lot of effort into the movie. He was the visual consulting artist in the animated movie. In the animation you can see that faces and scenarios have been beautifully depicted by him even if there was a fire nearby he was putting that effect on the animated heroes faces. When you see that there is a romantic moment of hiccup and a straight toothless person is carrying them. How a straight line causes hiccups. All of these details the sky is the atmosphere. Everything is amazing when you look at them from the axis of the characters.

The live action failed to make us feel that way. The only thing that makes you grasp similarities between the original and the live action is the fighting sequence. When hiccup fights along with his dragon toothless and their compatibility can be seen easily. The animated movie was more smooth and beautiful to watch, however these similarities and smoothness are not found in the live action. 

But we will still watch this movie because it takes you a little bit closer to the action of hiccup and toothless. You get to watch their friendship grow along with their village.
